Development of the first hot runner system. The cold 230V manifold with external heating is registered with the patent office.

Founding of the HEITEC Heisskanaltechnik GmbH by Karl-Heinz Cronau, Günther Schulz and Hans Schreck. Offices and the first production facility are established at the Bottendorf location. First trade fair booth at the Fakuma in Friedrichshafen

HEITEC goes international. JPI starts looking after our customers in Canada and North America.

The production facility in Bottendorf is becoming too small. We move to a larger building in Burgwald-Industriehof.
The 10,000th nozzle ships.
1996
HEITEC goes worldwide. The company’s first home page goes online.
1997
We celebrate our 10-year anniversary.
Certification of our quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001.
Our workforce grows to 45 employees at the main location in Burgwald.
First-time attendance at the Euromold in Frankfurt/Main.
1998
Representatives are established in South Africa, Italy and Portugal.
Our own trade fair booth at the ‘K’ in Düsseldorf.
1999
The production facility in Burgwald Industriehof is also becoming too small. We break ground for a new production and administration building in Burgwald Bottendorf.
Market launch of a valve-gate flat nozzle with separate melt channel.
2000
We move into the new buildings in Bottendorf with a total of 2500 m² of floor space for production and offices. In the same year, our workforce grows to 64.
2002
HEITEC goes Asia. Representatives are established in China and Taiwan.
2003
HEITEC receives certification according to the environment management system DIN EN ISO 14001 – the first company in the hot runner industry to do so.
2004
The 40,000th hot runner nozzle ships.
Our workforce grows to 87 employees, and 8 apprentices start their career at HEITEC.
Our first own trade fair booths at the Chinaplas in Shanghai and the Taipeh Plas.
2005
Market launch of the STAR-LINE nozzle series. This innovative nozzle design revolutionises the edge gating of plastic parts and sets a new standard worldwide.
2006
We hire our 100th employee.
HEITEC is awarded the innovative mid-sized business entrepreneurship prize.
2007
HEITEC celebrates its 20th birthday. Employees, customers and numerous well-wishers join the celebration on the company premises.
2008
The production floor space is expanded by 480 m². The size of the company premises grows to 3000 m².
Bastian Schreck joins the company management team.
2010
Market launch of the FLAT-LINE nozzle 01.041.4.5. This nozzle, the smallest available on the global market, permits individually controlled cavity spacing of as little as 4.5 mm.

Investment in new height gauges and a new 3D measuring machine

On the company’s 25th anniversary, HEITEC reduces the energy consumption of all nozzles and manifolds by 25%.
Company co-founder Karl-Heinz Cronau leaves the company to enjoy his well-earned retirement.
2013
Investment in an additional 5-axis milling and turning centre. Market launch of the FREE-FLOW system for the fault-free injection of plastic parts using valve-gate technology.

HEITEC goes on the road: investment in a presentation and training vehicle.
HEITEC becomes one of the first employers in northern Hesse to offer its employees a bicycle leasing option.

Lars Heinemann joins the company management team as chief technical officer.
Recognition as Northern Hesse Champion – from Burgwald into the whole world.

Market launch of the FLEX- IN system. Our production plant begins to ship fully assembled and wired hot runners
