Pre-sale consultation and system design

We provide assistance and advice already during the RFQ and mould design phase. Our field service associates are happy to provide on-site consultation and present initial information regarding feasibility, nozzle selection and system size. An initial quotation with a guide price can typically be created by our office sales team within 24 hours after the first contact. In addition, our team creates Moldex mould flow analyses and calculations for pressure loss, shear and tool life in the system. This ensures the optimal design of the hot runner system for your application.

Configurator

Would you like to get an overview in advance of the hot runner nozzles and manifolds that might be suitable for your application? Based on the details you enter, our online Configurator can present you with a selection of suitable hot runner components including matching 3D data. The 3D data are available for download in all common file formats, allowing a simple import into your mould design software.

Pilot plant

At our pilot plant in Burgwald-Bottendorf, we conduct materials testing using our own moulds. Dedicated test moulds are available for almost all nozzle types. When prototype testing is complete, our application engineers provide you with a detailed test report including process parameters, machine settings and the results of the tool life test. In the event of damage, the application engineering team supports the service department as necessary by conducting goods inwards testing and acceptance testing of your mould. Here, injection moulding machines with up to 130t of clamping force and max. 160g of shot weight are available.

Application engineering

Do you have any questions or problems with an existing Heitec hot runner system? Our team of service technicians and application engineers supports you in the analysis of defective injection-moulded parts and works with you to optimise your manufacturing process, if necessary. In case of complaints, our engineers work with our service department to perform a damage analysis. On-site visits can be arranged upon request at any time.

Maintenance and repairs

Nothing is more frustrating than unexpected production disruptions and machine downtime due to defective or worn-out system components. Repairing our hot runner systems quickly and expertly is therefore one of our company’s top priorities. After the system has been received for maintenance, a comprehensive inspection is performed which includes the creation of a cost estimate and service schedule. After all components including the flow channels have been cleaned, the defective components are repaired or replaced, with inspection and documentation performed by our quality assurance team. Our service team will also be happy to perform preventive maintenance on your hot runner system at defined intervals.

Real-time online support

The quickest and most efficient way to receive support for any issues concerning our hot runner systems is to use our real-time online support system. We are standing by in real time to help you in particular with issues concerning installation, disassembly or the identification of the optimal process parameters. The procedure is as simple as can be – all you need is a mobile device with video capability (smartphone, tablet computer, etc.) and an internet connection. Telephone or e-mail our service team. We will immediately send you a link for a Microsoft Teams meeting. Join the meeting and – with the help of the camera – describe your questions or problems to our engineers.

Certified sustainability

Protecting the environment and our society is an investment into the future. For us, this means taking on responsibility for future generations. Our company has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 since 1997.  As early as 2003, HEITEC received certification according to the environment management system DIN EN ISO 14001 – the first company in the hot runner industry to do so.

This combined certification for these quality and environment management systems reflects our great sense of responsibility and obliges us to continuously reduce our environmental impact and to use resources efficiently. Accordingly, we prioritise the reduction, prevention or recycling of waste over simple waste disposal. Resources such as water and energy are used sparingly and conscientiously.
